Your Impact:

Join our passionate Infrastructure Services team and help shape the strategic direction of Buller District Councils infrastructure planning. Your expertise will drive the development of fit for future infrastructure across transport, three waters, waste management, and property portfolios. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and support other asset owners and facility managers to enhance community outcomes.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead infrastructure business case development and investment recommendations aligned with Councils Long-Term Plan.
• Champion asset management best practices, ensuring compliance with Audit NZ recommendations.
• Drive sustainability initiatives to meet both present and future infrastructure needs.
• Collaborate closely with Commercial & Corporate Services to optimize asset knowledge and financial reporting.

Your qualifications and experience:

• Tertiary qualifications in Infrastructure Strategy/Planning, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.

• Experience in procurement and management of consultant engagements and construction contracts.
• Familiarity with NZTA planning, investment strategies, and government funding sources.
